Job Description: GCT is looking for an Imagery Specialist with a current clearance to work on-site with our customer. This opportunity is focused on developing new techniques for extracting geospatial intelligence from all types of imagery products, including NTM, commercial, and airborne sources. The workflow will include discovering relevant image sources and types, loading selected image products into a geospatial database implemented in Oracle 10g running Oracle Spatial and ArcSDE, orthorectifying images from rigorous sensor models, developing seamless mosaics, and creating published products that utilize appropriate map scales and projections.
The successful candidate will have an active full-scope lifestyle polygraph with TS/SCI clearance. Experience with ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine, MET, web services, XML, and geospatial data structures is a must, along with experience using NGA raster and vector data types in a GIS context. A working knowledge of ENVI, RemoteView, SocketSet and Open GIS Consortium (OGC) standards is a plus. | |
