Systems Engineer

Location: Chantilly, VA

Clearance: Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Description: Join an elite group dedicated to continuous personal improvement as GCT is currently seeking mid – level Systems Engineer to work at our headquarters located in Chantilly, VA. The candidate will focus on designing XML Schemas for imagery metadata. They will participate in software design and development; perform analysis of situations or data for modeling purposes along with other duties.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

·        Demonstrates core skills and abilities necessary to provide Java 1.5 language, standard libraries (collections, threads, and reflection), eclipse, and Net beans.

·        Provides DTD, W3C XML schema experience.

·        Excellent working knowledge of XLST, XPath; XML DOM, and SAX programming.

·        Messaging and Repository based standards are also a must have.

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills at various levels within the organization.

Desired Skills:

·        At least five years of Geospatial Intelligence experience

·        KML, GML programming; ISO 19115, ISO 19139 and Oracle schema design.

·        Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community

·        Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency on PC and UNIX platforms.
