Job Description: GCT is looking for two SAR Imagery Scientists with a minimum of 10 to 15 years experience and an active TS/SCI clearance to work on-site with our customer. The SAR AGI program has been tasked to assist the NGA/TX in two key areas: A utility assessment of foreign SARs and development of training material related to geopositioning. In addition, the SAR AGI program is completing an evaluation of SAR to detect and measure vertical obstructions.  GCT support is requested to ensure that these efforts can be completed in the time required.

 The work will concentrate on the following tasks:

·          Testing of stereo extraction techniques to derive VO data from SAR imagery

·          Develop Operational Concepts for Analyst in the Loop VO Extraction

·          Editing of technical material for a short course called, Geomatics: An Integrated View, and development of tutorials and graphics related to sensor geometry models and image exploitation

·          Manage utility assessments of Foreign SAR Satellites, including SAR imagery and AGI products

·          Direct technical support to the SAR AGI  program manager

Requirements: A minimum of 10 and 15 years experience in the following areas:

·          Expert in photogram metric engineering, working knowledge of sensor geometry models and all associated mathematics used to  process and exploit images

·          Expert in remote sensing and be familiar with national and commercial sensors

·          Experience in radar imaging and processing

·          Demonstrated project planning and management skills

·          Extensive writing experience

It is anticipated that there will be travel outside of the Washington DC area at least 8 times per year.
