Leave (37 total days per year!)

Paid Time Off. Each fulltime employee will accrue 22 days (176 hours) annually of leave during the first three (3) years of employment. This equates to 7.33 hours per pay period. Upon completion of three, five, and 10 years of service, employees will accrue 25, 28, and 33 days annually (8.33, 9.33, and 11 hours per pay period), respectively. Because leave is not categorized as vacation or sick, it can be used in any way that the employee desires as long as the employee complies with the GCT policies. Leave may be taken once the employee has completed 90 days of service.

Holidays. GCT is closed on the following days: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. The offices are also closed for four (4) days during the holidays in addition to Christmas and New Year Day. These days will change with each calendar year.

Financial*

401(k) with employer matching of 100% for the first 3% and 50% for the next 2% (Requires completion of six months of employment in order to enroll and participate in the matching program.) (Matching contributions are 100% fully vested)

Educational assistance. GCT pays for attendance at all required classes, coursework, and conferences. Assistance for voluntary relevant coursework, degree, or certificate will be provided up to $5000 per year for grades of B or higher.

Voluntary Benefits

All benefits listed below are SUPPLEMENTAL to the above referenced coverages and are NOT stand alone. All plans are offered through AFLAC.

Personal Accident Indemnity Plan. AFLAC pays the benefit directly to you if you are in an accident. You may use the payment to pay medical bills, to cover lost wages, or for anything else that you might need.

Personal Sickness Indemnity Plan. This plan covers you for any major illness that might land you in the hospital. Monies are distributed for hospital stays, major tests, surgeries, rehabilitation, and ambulance trips.

Personal Cancer Indemnity Plan. This plan provides varying benefits including experimental treatments in the event that you are diagnosed with cancer.

Personal Recovery Plus. This benefit is used when you experience and are recovering from a major illness.

Family coverage is also available for any of the above referenced supplemental benefit plans.

Other*

Employee Assistance Program for all members of the family.

Employee evaluation/salary review. All new employees will receive a performance evaluation after six months of employment and then again on or about the employee's first anniversary. Performance evaluations with salary reviews will occur annually on or about the employee's anniversary from then on.

Reimbursement for Use of Public Transportation. Employees who use public transportation in order to get to work on a DAILY basis will be reimbursed through WageWorks up to a maximum of $200 per month. You must enroll with WageWorks in order to receive this benefit. This compensation can be used to pay for any public transport like Metro, MARC Train, VRE, etc., and parking expenses related to using the selected mode of transport, or parking at your job location (lot fees, parking meters). This can also be used for expenses of riding in a Vanpool where the vehicle has at least 6 passengers. Again, this benefit can only be used if these expenses are accrued on a daily basis.

Relocation expense reimbursement. Available to employees whom GCT determines would have to travel a distance from home to work that is not reasonable. The amount is determined by a variety criterion.

Bonus program (performance, new business, referral, etc.) is available to all employees who have completed a minimum of 90 days of work.

GCT dollars* At the open enrollment period employees will receive "GCT dollars" that can be used toward family benefits and purchasing voluntary benefits.
