Job Description: GCT is looking for four RADAR Imagery Scientists with active TS/SCI clearances to work on-site with our customer. Three positions will support work at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC and the fourth will work in Bethesda, MD. This opportunity is focused on developing new techniques for extracting geospatial intelligence from all types of RADAR imagery products (SAR, IFSAR, LIDAR), including NTM, commercial, and airborne sources, as well as evaluating how phase history data can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements. The resultant business processes will be institutionalized within an analyst's workflow to affect mission critical requirements, which result in imagery findings that are included in the President’s Daily Brief and used in other national security briefings.
The successful candidate will have an active TS/SCI clearance and four years of study in image science, remote sensing, earth science, physical science or a similar course of study at an accredited school and at least three years of experience as an imagery scientist. Experience with COTS packages (ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, Case Executive), desktop packages (MS Office) and the Windows and UNIX operating systems is a must. The candidate must possess knowledge of imaging RADAR system technology and collection parameters, experience with image analysis and analysis, good oral and written communication skills, and familiarity with the US Intelligence Community, specifically with imagery collection and exploitation. Experience supporting intelligence analysis and production, working with NTM sensors, and MASINT data and sensors is a plus.
