Join an elite group dedicated to continuous personal improvement as GCT is currently seeking a Sr. Geospatial Database Developer to work on an exciting new program of high attention! The qualified candidate will be working with the Conflation Working Group (CWG) in St. Louis, Missouri.  The big picture of the program is that we are looking to transfer aeronautical safety data from a legacy system to a newer system that is on a different format without corrupting data on either system.  The candidates’ particular role and responsibility will be testing the rules set by the CWG with provided subsets of GeoFeature and VO Data.  The testing will influence how the overall migration is done.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will need to have an Active TS/SCI clearance in addition to the following expertise

·        Knowledge of conflation software and principles

·        Knowledge of GIS

·        Experience working with Sybase, Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g (Spatial extension is nice also), and Microsoft Access 2003

·        Knowledge of comparing the same data between a Sybase environment to an Oracle environment

·        Knowledge of comparing the same data between two different Oracle environments (from 9i to 10g)

·        Knowledge of Aeronautical Vertical Obstructions

·        Knowledgeable of hardware and software integration, system design, database programming, structured design and be able to diagnose software problems

·        Have knowledge of the computer industry in general
